Tickets from Parking Enforcement Officers are promptly added to the City’s online system, while handwritten tickets may experience delays. How do I pay a parking ticket in Los Angeles County?

Payment for parking citations can be conveniently made through various channels, including online, via PayTix, in-person, by phone, or by mail.

Accepted payment methods include Visa and MasterCard, with a $2.00 processing fee for transactions made online, via phone, or through the app.

It is crucial to submit payment on or before the due date as stipulated by the California Vehicle Code section 40309 to avoid late penalty fees and additional sanctions.

How much is a parking ticket in LA?

To clear DMV registration holds related to parking tickets, payments can be made either at the DMV or at the Parking and Commuter Services office. Proof of payment from either office can be used to clear holds at the other.

If you opt to pay DMV ticket(s) at the office, acceptable payment methods include cash, debit card, cashier’s check, money order, or credit card ONLY.
